This is a great, local hardware store. I'm probably a little biased against big retail chains, but I don't think anyone can question that a place like Lavender Mountain Hardware has much better service. I've talked to a few employees and even the owner, and they've been great about helping me out and giving advice. While the prices are sometimes a little more, they've actually been cheaper on quite a few items. Either way, they've probably saved me time and money in the long run by making sure I ended up with exactly what I needed. On the couple of occasions that their suppliers didn't carry the right parts, they were even able to let me know about other stores that did have them.
OMG, the place is an mom and pop atmosphere. Definitely a place where everyone gets to know you and your name reminds me a lot of Cheers but it is a mom-and-pop hardware store. The people there are awesome definitely a place where I would like to spend my money at
Awesome place; good energy
The lady helped my wife tremendously and the man was a real jerk to me . I bought 12 lbs. of grass seed and being a paraplegic I asked if someone could help me to the truck with my purchase, after a few minutes my wife came out with her $250 purchase and my grass seed. I feel they cater to the well to do in this area and everyone else can take it or leave it.
Nice local hardware and garden supply. Try to shop local when I can!
