Better than the Mt. Berry theater, but not great.
We went to the movies on Mother's Day. The Rome Cinema website was offering a promotion of $6.50 per ticket. I was charged $7.00 per ticket and when I questioned the amount the girl told me "I've already rung it up so I can't do anything." I noticed and mentioned to her the cash drawer was still open and all she needed to do was give me the dollar she owed me. SHE DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE I'D SAID A WORD! REALLY??? I understand it's just a dollar, but do not understand her unwillingness to do the right thing. Advice to Dr. Smith. Either don't offer a discounted rate or train your people how to correct their errors.
Nice experience. Really needs updated and maintaining. Staff was really nice but they expressed the plumbing had problems and their was a problem with smells in the drains of the bathrooms, so they needed to spray constantly. As expensive as everything was I would think they could afford to make upgrades or atleast maintain.
If you want to watch movie in peace without people talking then avoid this theater..especially if youre a horror movie fan. I went to go check out IT tonight and was once again disappointed in the crowd that also attended the screening( had a smiliar experience at Mount Berry movies ). The typical crowd of a giddy group of friends arrived and I knew the moment they walked in it would be a problem. When you watch a horror movie at home do you scream and shout at the tv in a pathetic attempt to make everyone laugh? No. So why PAY money to go act like a complete in front of your friends? Nothing is more annoying that trying to watch a horror movie and hearing some alpha male wannabe shout at the screen or a bunch of basic girls giggling and screaming...especially if you paid good money to come watch the movie. I will never understand why these types of people come to movie theaters and why that type of behavior is tolerated. So to all serious moviegoers SAVE YOUR MONEY AND JUST STREAM THE DAMN MOVIE IF YOU WANT TO WATCH IN PEACE
I LiKe the area of location for 1 and the friendly staff members here. It was just really cold outside and iT didn't feel like there were any change inside. I just stayed cold through the whole movie. TheN just before the end TheY came and adjusted the temperature as the credits started to rolled. GooD theater oVeR aLL but just make sure you bring a blanket.
