Beautiful is the word for this park. It even has an area, for babies to crawl around.
Great place to access the Riverwalk. The playgrounds are well kept, there are also nice picnic pavilions, and clean bathrooms.
This is a great recreation area. Boat launch, play ground, frisbee golf, beach volleyball, walk, run, and bike track, workout and fitness area, and a environmental center. They host 4th of July fireworks, concerts, and relay for Life and other cancer (walk/run) events. Picnic area that are covered. Just a large event area that has plenty of things to do. Great place to take the kids and great walking trail
Nice walking path along the river. However it seems like the path itself could use some service. Roots are starting to push through the walkway and is causing a tripping hazard. Not to mention anyone with a stroller or bike has to be extra extra careful. Maybe some more informative signs could be placed with arrows to indicate highlights along the way. Also, there are a few areas that could use some clean up, i.e. carts and other trash in the water, overgrowns areas, grafitti.
