Staff is wonderful! They remember me and ask about my children when they are not with me. I look forward to seeing the staff at this Publix. Judy is one of my favorites! Thank you!

I ordered a cake from here for my son's second birthday. The first cake was just horrible, I asked for it to be sprayed blue and they used blue icing, the Littles were VERY poorly written you could see where they messed the letters up multiple times and tried to fix it, I asked for little yellow dots to resemble stars, and what they put on there was an absolute joke, the lady literally put quotations around Happy Birthday Carter on the cake! I wanted to cry looking at that cake thinking this had to be my son's birthday cake. I honestly cannot belive they thought that was an acceptable cake to give to somebody. I went to customer service and the manager came, he walked over to the bakery with me and spoke to the bakery manager. She was VERY helpful and redid the cake for me in about 20 minutes. The cake is great now and exactly what I wanted. She was amazing, which is where the 4 stars comes in.
My order was placed online and was supposed to be ready at 6p.m. they didn't start making it until i got there after i had to tell them about my order. They wasn't stocked and/or prepared to make my order. The guy who made my sub clearly couldn't read and tried several times to put onions on my sub after i told him not to. I also asked to have my bread toasted but clearly the guy couldn't or didn't read the ticket. I almost said forget the whole thing. I will not be visiting the Publix deli in Rome, Ga again
