Other than that the place is okay for an average motel but don't expect to get the room you reserved when you arrive.
Owner...replace the lamps someone stole out of 117.
The room smells funny. By the third day we was getting used to the smell. But we also woke up to a dead bug in our bed. It was also the worst free breakfast I have ever had. They run out of food. No coffee, the pancake mix was too runny to make pancakes, and the juice machine didn't work.
The toilet didn't want to flush. Lots of noise but not much action. The couch was really sagging. The bed was VERY COMFORTABLE. The desk staff was very pleasant.
Thank You Best Western Executive Inn.
I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past 12 months. All for difference reasons while in Rome, GA. Some for pleasure, business, reunions, and the home going of my mother. On all of these stays, this hotel went over, and above their job, to make each stay as accommodating as anyone could possibly ask for. This year was the first time I had ever stayed at this hotel, while visiting in Rome, GA. It is now my hotel of choice whenever I visit my family, and friends in Rome, GA, and the surrounding cities near Rome.
This place is HORRABLE! It should not be a best western! It should be a much lower in their chain of hotels. The GM had a very poor attatuide. I stayed for 9 days in September, I made my reservation in the beginning of August for a double non-smoking room on the best western app. When I get there they didn't have a non-smoking room because someone who booked the reservation through the hotel that very week got the last no-smoking room for only one night thru my stay. I work 12- 14 hours a day and have a roommate who works the other shift so moving during my job was not possible. I nicely agreed to stay in the smoking-room if they would compensate my bill accordingly to which the girl at the front desk agreed to take about $150 off my stay only to be overruled by the general manager because I booked on the app and not through the hotel itself. Then my roommate who works the night shift was awakened three different times during the day with the do not disturb sign on his door because the supposed Water Maintenance after he told them to leave him alone and allow him to sleep they kept coming back to the room anyway, beating on the door saying hateful things because he didn't want to get up and let them in to simply turn off a faucet that he had told them he would turn off himself. I come to this town twice a year for 10 to 12 days at a time and this is the second time I've stayed and had trouble I will never stay there again.
They're not big on maintenance, either. I reported a toilet that wouldn't stop running twice. It ran all week and may still be running. (Owner...room 124). Also had to use (2) remotes to watch TV. (Owner...room 117)
I can from out of town to work in the area and stayed here for several weeks. I left for the weekend and made reservation in advance for two rooms for (1) week each requesting a single king bed and was told no problem. When I arrived the only room available was a room with (2) double beds. Someone needs to realize the base word for reservation is reserve. I went somewhere else.
