If you're going out for a meal with 2-10 people there's something for everyone. The salad & bean bar can't be beat, delicious selection & the pintos & cornbread are great. Peel & eat shrimp on the bar Tues-Thur... Closed on Monday.
Entire party must be present to be seated.
If you are expecting fancy, you will be disappointed. This is a old fashioned, hometown steak House. The kind most town had long before the chains took over.
Great steaks! My husband ordered well-done & his was over cooked. I ordered medium well & it was perfect!
The size of the restroom is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. It is to small for a walker or wheelchair, do we can't take the whole family here.
If you are looking for a good meal at decent prices you will enjoy yourself!
Our steak and stuffed flounder were cook quickly and as ordered. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
Other than that we loved rediscovering the homestead!
Food was ok, they have an all you can eat salad bar with some really good dressings. But the killer was the service, our waitress pretty much ignored us. Other waitresses had to come over to fill up our water. Among other things that happened we were not to happy when we left.
I just love the atmosphere here. I mean the food is great to. Loaded salad bar, all you can eat pinto beans an cornbread. It's all pretty good. Steaks are always over cooked just a little, an they aren't the best of size. But I think that's pretty much the style of cooking here.
They have a great selection of steak, seafood and chicken, a good salad bar and the Pinto's and cornbread are excellent!!
